1957 Chevy Bel-Air Convertible on Z06 Chassis. This convertible is a one-of-a-kind Retro-Rod! The '57 Chevy body comes with complete Corvette Z06 running gear with just over 7,000 miles on it. Car was built over a two year period with over $100,000 invested in parts and materials alone. Only two of these cars were made with the Corvette running gear: one is this '57 convertible and the other is a ‘57 Chevy Nomad Wagon built for NASCAR driver Tony Stewart.
Car has Z06 motor, transmission, rear end and front end. All Z06 electronics are fully functional including OBD2 sensor plug-in. Car can be serviced at any dealership that works on Corvettes. Car has custom tan leather interior, rear DVD entertainment system, Clarion stereo, power windows & door locks, driver's side power seat and dual-airbags. Doors open at the push of a hidden button. One-piece, metal tilt front end is powered by hydraulics, shaved and decked with custom bowtie grill, white paint and white pearl ghost flames. Rear features disappearing/reappearing license plate at the touch of a button. Convertible top is custom-made in tan canvas with real back-glass (no plastic). Car's bottom side is closed in like a Z06 Corvette (underpinned) with tunable exhaust. Car has polished chrome Corvette wheels.
