1938 Ford Wagon Street Rod Project. We purchased this near-complete street rod project last year to finish as a show piece for our restoration shop. Now we have too many projects to finish, and we have to start selling some. This original '38 Ford Panel Wagon is very solid with rust in only a few of the regular spots. The frame has been heavily customized with thousands of dollars in work by the previous owner. It has a 4-link suspension in the rear with disc brakes, a '94 LT1 Chevy Camaro engine and transmission, Walker aluminum radiator, Ididit steering column, Bitchin floor pan and Bitchin firewall. Per the previous owner, the engine is in good, running condition with 20,000 miles. It was pulled from a wrecked Camaro. Wiring is incomplete so we have never tried to run the engine. Brake lines and fuel lines are already installed. Project seems to be very complete, but needs some work to finish. The body was media blasted and then painted in black sealer for storage. The pictures tell the story of this ready-to-build project car.
